Abstract Description

High prevalence and inadequate pain management during procedure in children had been recognized and both pharmacological and non-pharmacological strategies were recommended. However, hospitalized pediatric patients still experienced multiple painful procedures. The purpose of this study is to describe the prevalence of moderate-to-severe pain during procedure in children at the tertiary care university hospital. Secondary objectives are to identify risk factors of moderate-to-severe pain, pain management, and effectiveness of the intervention that have been used in pediatric patients.
