In this session we will provide practical advice on maximizing successful block placement with optimization of ultrasound imaging, artefacts, examples of relevant ultrasound anatomy and probe placement.  We will provide practical advice on maximizing successful block placement for hand eye coordination while performing nerve blocks and securement of nerve catheters. During the hands on session, she will further guide attendees to practice hand eye coordination with ultrasound guided needling of the phantom to simulate target practice and in plane and out of plane approaches to needle placement.
