As workshop chair, Dr. Holley will provide an introduction to the workshop and overview of learning objectives and planned activities.  Dr. Holley will also moderate the panel discussion which will focus on key methodological issues regarding QST assessment in pediatric pain samples (e.g., type of equipment and stimulus, length of protocol, and human subjects considerations in pediatric pain samples). Panelists will discuss challenges faced in conducting QST studies and promising future directions for using QST to advance pediatric pain research. This discussion will include Q & A from the audience to support attendees in making decisions on the protocols that are best suited for their own research.
