Abstract Description

Poor sleep is associated with high pain scores and decrease physical functioning. We have developed a sleep hygiene booklet which allows children to learn about the importance of sleep hygiene, develop their own sleep routine, document their sleep diary and write questions about their sleep to bring to the multidisciplinary team. After success in the chronic pain management clinic, it has been adopted by the paediatric preassessment service and paediatric sleep service. The booklet is available online and via email for children who have access to internet and would prefer a digital copy. It is also available in large print and braille for inclusivity.
