Dr.Chidambaran will discuss education to prepare the patient and caregivers for home care of the block catheter. She will also elaborate on monitoring and following up practices including the use of remote patient monitoring programs, dosing strategies and potential advantages for decreasing hospital length of stay.  During the hands-on session, she will discuss and demonstrate anatomy using ultrasound for PECS and Erector spinae blocks for chest wall surgery and transversus abdominis plain and rectus sheath blocks for abdominal surgeries.
