Professional Bio
Sara Hauber is an American living in Ireland and pursuing her PhD in the School of Allied Health at the University of Limerick.
In her PhD research, she is exploring the use of (and barriers to the use of) the biopsychosocial perspective in treatments for persistent back pain in adolescence.
She has previously led and assisted with research in both health communication (interpersonal and mass media messaging) and emergency pain management.
Hauber’s first PhD study was published in European Journal of Pain (April 2023 issue; available open access from Wiley). This ISPP poster features her second PhD study.
